Wine & Field brings people together in the fields for an afternoon of food, wine, music, and good company.
Held only a few times each year, it opens the Chalo estate for a social gathering unlike anything else in Malawi.

Wine & Field at Chalo
Wine & Field is a countryside gathering held within the estate fields at Chalo Villas and Farms.
Guests spend the afternoon enjoying food, curated wine selections, and music while moving through the open landscape of the farm. The experience is relaxed and social, creating space to meet friends, explore the estate, and enjoy the atmosphere of the countryside.
It is designed as a day to slow down, gather, and enjoy time together.
Estate Gathering in the Fields
During Wine & Field the farm becomes the setting for the day.
Food is served throughout the gathering, wine is available across the estate grounds, and music carries the energy of the afternoon. Guests are free to move between spaces, relax in the open fields, and enjoy the landscape.
The experience is social, relaxed, and intentionally limited so that the gathering never feels crowded.
A Limited Estate Release
Wine & Field tickets are released in limited numbers.
Each gathering is intentionally small enough to maintain the relaxed atmosphere of the estate. This ensures that every edition feels personal, comfortable, and social.
When tickets are released, they tend to sell quickly.
The Estate in Its Most Open Form
Wine & Field opens the estate in a way that is different from a normal visit.
The villas, fields, and wider landscape become part of a single shared gathering. It is a chance to experience the estate at its most open and social.
Seasonal Editions
Wine & Field is held twice each year, with each edition shaped by the agricultural season of the estate.
No two gatherings are exactly the same.
