There is always a way into the day.
Harvest Table is open to everyone. Come for breakfast, arrive for a long lunch, or let dinner draw you out to the farm. Walk-ins are welcome, whether you are staying in a villa or simply making Chalo part of your day.
A table hold is available when planning ahead would make the day easier. It is never a requirement for coming to Chalo.

Food
Eat with the season
There is no fixed version of the farm, so there is no fixed version of the table. What is ready on the estate and with nearby growers guides the kitchen, bringing each part of the year into the room in a different way.
The food does not try to hide where it came from. It lets good ingredients speak, gives friends a reason to stay longer, and turns a meal into a way of knowing the land.
Bringing young children? The menu follows the season — hold a table and tell us their ages; the team will suggest simple plates from today's kitchen.

Your Sunday still belongs to you
Two parents, one or two small children, twenty minutes from Lilongwe — space to walk, food for everyone, and no need to stay the night to make it worth the drive.
The menu follows the season, not a kids' section. That is why we ask ages when you hold a table — so someone can suggest simple plates from today's kitchen before you worry about the menu.

Coffee
Let the day linger
Coffee is where a morning walk can pause and a long lunch can refuse to end. Ours is made from Malawian-grown beans and prepared fresh through the day.
Take it at the table, carry the conversation into the afternoon, and stay long enough to notice the estate changing around you.
Wine
A bottle for the table
We may not grow grapes at Chalo, but wine belongs easily in the life of the farm: a cold glass at lunch, a bottle opened as the light softens, something chosen to meet the food rather than compete with it.
The selection follows the menu and the Malawian season, giving every table permission to slow down a little longer.

Give Sunday to the farm
Come out from Lilongwe while the day is still young. Brunch shaped by what the farm picked that week, the rows open to walk before or after, and the farm shop on your way back to the car. You do not need to sleep here to live a day here — and young children are welcome. Walk first, then eat; tell us their ages when you hold a table.
Walk-ins are welcome
Sunday is the busiest table of the week, so holding one is worth the minute it takes. It is a twenty minute drive from town, and free parking on the estate.
Come when the table calls
Walk in for breakfast, make an afternoon of lunch, or arrive for dinner. If you prefer to plan ahead, ask us to hold a table.
